The Super Hero craze has hit in almost every possible way the last couple of years. From movies to fashion, everyone is trying to get in on this trend and add their own spin. Now it has reached a new level of mania: makeup. MAC Cosmetics Wholesale has launched a Wonder Woman inspired makeup line for Spring 2011, which definitely has it's own unique spin mixed in.
MAC Cosmetics introduces Wonder Woman makeup line
Wonder Woman was introduced in December of 1941 as the creation of William Marston of All American Publications. Princess Diana, or "Wonder Woman", was an Amazon who had been given physical and mental prowress from the Olympian gods, as well as her weapon, the "Lasso of Truth", with the task of helping fight Nazi armies during WWII. With so much personailty, strength, and sex appeal mixed into this popular character, it is no wonder that MAC chose Wonder Woman to be the inspiration for their new Spring line.
Eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks, cheap mac makeup powder and even nail lacquer all sport the Wonder Woman costume color combo of gold, blue, and red. Each piece also comes with Wonder Woman themed titles, such as Defiance eyeshadow and Spirit of Truth nail lacquer. But the fun doesn't stop there. MAC has also designed makeup bags and brush sets, all with the gorgeous Super Hero in mind. Everything from a Utility Belt Brush set, to a Wonder Woman tote bag, this entire line screams Girl Power.
MAC Hello Kitty Kouture Collection. The Hello Kittty Kouture Collection is the higher end version of the Mac Hello Kitty line. The collection will be released March 5.
